I'm trying to build my custom bodyslide preset onto a bunch of outfits (the cbbe vanilla dlc outfits.
An easy to use tool for customizing bodies and outfits, creating new bodies and outfits, and converting outfits between body types.
When installing to the standard folders (recommended), these files go to./fallout 4/data/tools/bodyslide/shape data. I'm not exactly comfortable working with bodyslide or outfit studio, and this post helped tremendously in figuring out what to do. To work with bodyslide, armor/clothing mods need bodyslide files. Make sure that is checked, select the body preset, and then ctrl+left click the batch build button at the bottom left corner beside that checkbox.

Navigate to your fallout 4 directory/data/tools/bodyslide and select the bodyslide executable (dont navigate to your vortex mods folder!) now start bodyslide through the vortex dashboard.
Looks like around 300 outfits), but i can only tick/untick one outfit at a time (there are what look like 400+ outfits from various mods to tick/untick!!!!!!). To see and build those armors/clothes in bodyslide, you need to choose the corresponding groups (choose groups). I'm having trouble getting bodyslide to work, because it won't show any armors or body presets. Up until now i have used outfit studio to scale, move, and mesh manipulate to get something crudely matching a male body (using super hero body as reference plus sliders).
I have been slowly adapting some female bodysuits and armors from female to male. The cbbe body that comes with this outfit is the author's own preset; Here is what it looks like: If it's equipped in game, the player's body conforms to this shape (regardless of your own base cbbe body preset).
Go to the dashboard of vortex and add a tool.
If the original outfits are already fitting to default cbbe then it will help to have the bodyslide files for that body shape downloaded as well though that shape doesn't need to be active within the game itself.
