If it happens with every outfit and preset, you may be running the game inside of the program files folder or another one with only read attributes. This message is popping up right after bodyslide ui opens up and i chose body options.
Hotfix to make the program load textures from ba2 archives again. Bodyslide will automatically install the outfit meshes into the correct directories. However, for some reason, no matter what i do bodyslide studio is not changing anything related to my game. I rarely used bodyslide in the last months.
I’ve had zero issues adjusting various armors to fit the bodyslide preset and checking in game after each change, except for when trying to change the cbbe presets for neiro’s cross armor mods.

So i installed the cbbe body and the bodyslide outfit studio. I'm having trouble getting bodyslide to work, because it won't show any armors or body presets. Here is what it looks like: Fallout 4 > general discussions > topic details.
Start bodyslide with mod organizer with the top right button.
This is preferred if you have hundreds of mods but not all are enabled. Endorse the original bos female knight armor by dantemk2 Rightclick tools>bodyslide>bodyslide_x64.exe and press add from file. Launch bodyslide through your mod manager.
Under preset, select your preset of choice. Fidn the mesh files wherever bodyslide sends them and then copy them to your character or unique character's directory. Change the sliders to your liking. Wait for bodyslide to build the meshes.
Now press preview on the bottom, select something on the top selector (ideally cbbe body) and a preset in the second one.
Steam won't move any mods installed to fallout 4's data folder, so if you're not using mod organizer 2 (which only would require a path change), you may even have to move or reinstall all your mods to the new location.
