Replacing an outfit is the easiest way to export directly into the game.
I'm having trouble getting bodyslide to work, because it won't show any armors or body presets.
I'm using bodyslide and outfitstudio through mod organizer. This should fix most problems and allow you to use bodyslide with vortex. I thought you were talking about the grognak outfit. It is quite easy to edit the outfits included in the mod and to change the way they cover or not cover parts of the body.
Just make sure you've selected your body preset in the preset drop down and just click the build button (not the batch build). Fix any remaining issues found ingame. In the target field, choose the bodyslide x64.exe file from your game installation's real data folder, not the vortex mods folder: Go to the dashboard of vortex and add a tool.

Note that some issues only arise with some animations or only when holding certain weapons etc. Click batch build and select the outfits you want to be adapted to that body.
