That will fix their outfits. I think with mccc you can replace/remove already generated situational outfits, and there are a few mods out there that can disable them. I tried to replace them with mccc but it doesn’t work.

You can delete any outfit you don't like from the registry in the same menu with delete saved outfit. Sims will wear partywear instead of situational outfits during food festival. I do use mods to disable them but, a lot of people don't want to use mods in their game and this would solve the problem for them, too.
