I'm having trouble getting bodyslide to work, because it won't show any armors or body presets. Now press preview on the bottom, select something on the top selector (ideally cbbe body) and a preset in the second one. I have put together some basic steps and instructions for new people that want to use bodyslide and outfit studio to make their own tweaks and changes to the cbbe body and clothing.
When you build an outfit in bodyslide it places a nif file in your game folder:
Even after downloading the “nevernude male” file from evb. There’s a checkbox at the bottom left that says something like build morphs. Beginners guide to cbbe bodyslide and outfit studio. You can import those files to edit in outfit studio.
Add a shortcut to the bodyslide x64.exe file from the data tab and set it to run from your game's real data folder, not the mo mods folder: Open bodyslide through nexus mod manager by clicking on the supported tools button and selecting it. Open bodyslide and build or batch build. Ensure that all pieces are selected to be built. Select the outfits you want to build to that preset, or all of them. Make sure that is checked, select the body preset, and then ctrl+left click the batch build button at the bottom left corner beside that checkbox.
Does not include any data, you need to get addons for the program (e.g. Help for installing mod organizer 2: Click batch build, then run through the various options for it. So my guess is that the bodyslide files from cbbe are not installed in the same folder as the bodyslide program.

Launch bodyslide through your mod manager. Every time i open bodyslide or outfit studio, i can pick all the different cbbe bodies for females, but i can’t find any male bodies. The 1st is what item you wanna change so say combat armor or flannel shirts or whatever mod item if it has bodyslide files. 1794 rows you can then launch it through mo2.
Select a normal cbbe body or the reduced ones.
Wait for bodyslide to build the meshes. This video tutorial covers up your basic interactions with bodyslide and i know that most of you know how to use this two programs but also there are those that do not and want to learn a few things. Hotfix to make the program load textures from ba2 archives again. In the bottom left corner, select batch build. I just want to be able to load up an outfit on the male body and change what it looks like, that’s all. Under preset, select your preset of choice.
Download the required nexus mods for it and then drag the files into the preset files for bodyslide.
Go to 'group filter' select 'choose groups' and check on cbbe bodies. There are a bunch of them so find one you like.
