I get a lot of questions as to how to use bodyslide so i figured i could write up a quick article and post it with my bodyslide presets. To work with bodyslide, armor/clothing mods need bodyslide files. Game assets are packed inside ba2 files.

For extracting game assets, you need bethesda archive extractor (available on nexus, very easy to use).
If your talking about a standard skyrim outfit, you're out of luck.
I've created armors/clothing mods for fo4. If it's a modded armour/outfit it's up to the mod author to grant others. If you are hust a user of my mod you don't have to bother with this at all. Bodyslide and outfit studio, cbbe, this (or any) preset into your mod manager of choice.
You can just load the armor with the fallout 4 version and export to.obj from there. Turns out you don't need that after all. Keep in mind you will have to convert the textures to sse as fallout 4 relies on bgsm material files that skyrim does not have so.
