He's no longer restricted to his plain old normal trenchcoat. When you first rescue nick and then meet him in his office ellie gives you some detective clothing (i forget exactly what they are called). Anyone know what the id for his trench coat is because i lost it somewhere.

This mod changes nick valentine to be able to wear almost any armor and clothing in the game.
Put nick in power armor, and enter his inventory.
Nick valentine's outfit from fallout 4 is now available! He is very effective at hacking computers, and adept at both ranged and melee combat. The fedora is a darker brown than the coat with a black hatband around the base. His coat and hat are craftable at chemistry station for recovering his original look.
As far as i know, the only thing you can normally give him to wear is the faded trench coat you get from helping him in the first place, which looks exactly the same as what he's already wearing (but can potentially be modified. Those clothes will accept ballistic weave and nick will wear them. I had a weapons and armor mod and i gave nick valentine an armor piece that removed his trench coat. If you've already unlocked ballistic weave, you can put weave on the detective coat you got from ellie at the end of unlikely valentine, and then make nick equip it.
While equipping the token, valentine's outfit recipes will be hidden from crafting menu.

Add a new version of nick valentine hat and coat (in two exemplaries) in the top level of detective valentine's agency. Can be weared by you and nick. These seem a bit dated historically, but i guess they'll do. Changes nick valentine's appearance to have the same skin as a gen 2 synth with a unique set of eyes.
I’m on ps4 and about to do far harbour. Made for valentine day 2024. Nick now can wear other clothes. The objects are standalone and don't replace the base game items.
They say every synth has his day, and today, it's nick's day!
Now nick valentine can wear every clothes and armor you(human) can wear.
