That said, i use some mods from here to deal with the outfit issue with festivals. If you have mc command center, you click on your sim, then sim commands>edit career outfit. The sim will be swapped immediately to the selected outfit; I cloned switch_outfit_formal and renamed it switch_outfit_career.
