In the showtime first impressions thread, ricalynn mentioned (and others said for them too) that career outfits seem to be messed up. Both resemble sims 4 interiors and have a cozy vibe with that cool dimmed light effect! Some of the changes involved skin tone and mismatched outfits.

The looks then changes again sometimes when changing the lot.
I’ve checked my mods and looked on forums/google with no help.
Clearly, the npc's are walking around with messed up clothing is caused by the broken game situation generator who is responsible for the way npc sims dress. Swear they update just to piss people off at this point. Check if there are new updated versions of the mods and cc you are using. So the game changed that default from the singer career to grad robe (because now in the career tab he is unemployed and is a student) but not back to singer when he returned home.
Then copy from desktop your mods and cc and paste it in the new mods folder. How to fully change a sim's appearance But other outfits don't work this way. Pick one of these two gorgeous cas backgrounds and start making new characters, playing with outfits and genetics in a homelike atmosphere.
The menu for changing outfits doesn't show up.
Don't know if it's a mod, but look into your lot traits in build mode. My sims, played and unplayed households, are wearing the wrong clothes. Only, it’ll get stuck on the current outfit but if i go to “change outfit,” it’ll have the outfit they were trying to change into highlighted. Is that the first slot cannot be edited.
I've noticed a few sims in different saves that randomly have outfits on that i didn't put on them, and i can't remove them in cas because they don't…. Sleepwear is automatically switched to when your sim goes to bed, and automatically switched out of when they go outside, take a bath or shower, or even in some rare cases just randomly when they get up off the couch to grab some food! The only way to change clothes is to shower/bathe. After the most recent update to my sims 4 game, all of my cc hairs and eyelashes have messed up.

The outfits all look correct in cas and you can see in the video they look fine in the outfit chooser until you're wearing an every day outfit then that outfit changes to the messed up one even in the outfit chooser. There are now two versions. Without fail during my gameplay, my sim will change their outfit. I checked her outfits and they were all correct.
There you could find the trait change into everyday outfit. Back in the game, the sim looked completely different and the clothing was different too. First, paste script mods one by one every time checking if the game is ok. Updated gussy up mod for adjusting sims appearance and outfits.

Just head over to a mirror or dresser and pick the options change sim to swap between the outfits you previously made or plan outfits option to take you to cas mode, but a limited version. I started playing a household, and my sim was wearing random clothes. The problem with the career outfits as apposed to the formals etc. They are discolored with random highlights, blurred, or completely crazy (especially eyelashes, they end up looking like huge spiders on their face)
The incorrect modifications to the sim who had a loose tooth continued as they grew up. The sim can even get all black or have a random colored texture. My sim aged up and i edited them in cas. Maybe this will help you.
