You can actually disable situational outfits entirely through mccc. A situation outfit is not stored anywhere like in cas, because it's generated on demand for the role a sim is playing. This removes the uniform from high school situation jobs because unless there's a pajama day, it's just not worth it.

Like, there is a specific button that says “disable situation outfits” or something like that, where you can check those that you want to disable.
Assign outfits based on body frame (adult/child), and fashion preference.
When the spell to teleport to the magic realm fails, the witch plus all the companions get a weird situation outfit (a robe, a clown, something completely random with cc.) this mod overrides the situation job to remove the outfits. I was using the try on outfits command at the mirror when my sim changed into their situation outfit. Ive looked up countless ways to get rid of this and failed, the situationoutfitsbegone is no longer in existence. With version 1, sims will wear formal wear at the blossom festival except for the crazy teen who will wear party wear.
Sims will wear light colours (white, pink, blue and yellow) and prefer floral patterns. I've been using the dresscode lot traits mod by littlemssam to set the dresscode to everyday to fix it. No more randomly generated clothes at the festival (except for the festival shirts). No outfit changing | custom lottrait & traits.
I have no idea what maxis has done other than the color coding being an issue for festivals.
I do use mods to disable them but, a lot of people don't want to use mods in their game and this would solve the problem for them, too. I'm losing my mind over these stupid city living raccoons. This will prevent them from wearing cc. Though if you follow the next steps, you won't need it (except for hair):
Use sims 4 studio to disable cc for random. That's why it can't be fixed in cas. The batch fix is my favorite feature of s4s, but i cannot find an option to untag the situation thing, which is rampant in my cc folder and generate strange combos like below, even though these accessories have been all disallowed for random. Is there a mod or a setting that can stop my sims and my townies from spawning in horrendous situational outfits whenever they wander somewhere that isn't their house?

For less eye blood spilled during city living festivals. Use mc command center's mc dresser setting. Please if you have any tricks or mods that will disable this. Currently, the only setting is “disable outfit changes” which.
An override that removes situation outfits from holidays in seasons. This goes great with the fashion authority mod by lot51, btw, since now the career uniform for high school students can take priority. Sims will not change clothes with these traits or lot trait. Mccc hasn't been updated since the rom so it won't work to disable these unfortunately.

Does anyone know a way to unlock/edit situation and specialty outfits? There are five options in the menu: Basically, how it works is it takes outfits saved in mc_dresser.cfg to apply them to any sim that's randomly generated. I can't directly edit it like i can for career, and i can't view it without the mirror function.

A few months ago i already wanted to make a mod which stops sims from autonomously change into outfits but back then i thought i had to overwrite all the interaction files where the change outfit code is in.
Or, you know, you could get rid of situation outfits in a patch and just let sims wear their everyday clothing.
I find it distracting when i play sims 4 and sims show up miss matched outfits and ugly clothes. Take control of the threads around your hoods by instituting uniforms! Adds a new dress code for the romance festival. Disables the festival outfits excluding special costumes such as cosplayers or market stall vendors.
Settings, manage [sim’s] threads, manage all threads, create thread, and change into threads. When updating any mods, always delete localthumbcache file in my documents > electronic arts > the sims 4. I know this has been asked many times before but i can't find anything recent.
