Basically, how it works is it takes outfits saved in mc_dresser.cfg to apply them to any sim that's randomly generated.
You can actually disable situational outfits entirely through mccc. Is there a mod or any setting that will completely disable them? This mod by bienchen allows you to disable them and keep your sims' original outfits. Is there a mod or a setting that can stop my sims and my townies from spawning in horrendous situational outfits whenever they wander somewhere that isn't their house?
It also applies to sims when they age up, but you can disable it for certain ages.

There's not even a pajama day! Do you want to get rid of the annoying situation outfits that your sims wear randomly in different events? You can disable all situation outfits under mc dresser on the computer. Use mc command center's mc dresser setting.

Or, you know, you could get rid of situation outfits in a patch and just let sims wear their everyday clothing. Showcasing my latest build, euphoria. Like, there is a specific button that says “disable situation outfits” or something like that, where you can check those that you want to disable. I think with mccc you can replace/remove already generated situational outfits, and there are a few mods out there that can disable them.

I do use mods to disable them but, a lot of people don't want to use mods in their game and this would solve the problem for them, too.
