If you prefer to have a different number of slots or you want them in different positions then this tutorial showing how to use studio's slot editor is the way to go. Been burned too many times by townie fashion? With ea's new discoverable traits system with the grow together patch, ya+ sims can technically have up to 8 traits. Or if you have ambitions, get a time machine and if they come back in some new threads take them into the dresser/cas wearing these threads then change the sim into something you want and you get to have lots of extra outfits.
This mod lets you copy your everyday outfit to all other outfit slots. I haven't used it yet myself, but it sounds promising. (and calling my work junk is not going to earn you any points in my book, just so you know). It is very flexible and lets you choose exactly what you want to copy.

There are no restrictions, so if you want to copy everything, you can. If your game's resolution is too low, it might not have enough space for all columns to show.
