Is there a mod or a setting that can stop my sims and my townies from spawning in horrendous situational outfits whenever they wander somewhere that isn't their house? Those outfits are “situational outfits”, usually for stuff like the festivals so the sims “fit in”. It’s not mccc related but i believe there’s a way to either change or turn off the outfits with mccc

Or, you know, you could get rid of situation outfits in a patch and just let sims wear their everyday clothing.
I do use mods to disable them but, a lot of people don't want to use mods in their game and this would solve the problem for them, too.
This mod by bienchen allows you to disable them and keep your sims' original outfits. The sims was originally wearing the space ranger outfit as his cosplay outfit. Where are they when they're doing this? Been burned too many times by townie fashion?

Adding to the other comment: Not even just religious ones. If we can turn on/off the dust system, they can offer an option to not remove certain types of assets. I find it distracting when i play sims 4 and sims show up miss matched outfits and ugly clothes.
