Gw2 Mixing Outfit Pieces

Edited november 2, 2021 by zentao.6314. I want to mix and match outfits.

This is why medium armors in majority are trenchcoats, and because of different hook spots and whatever, it's impossible to effectively mix and match armor pieces that in some cases go on top of each other's hook. If you have legendary armors, armor skins are the best option (no transmutation charges needed to change the skin), otherwise (like me) just mix outfits and armors for different characters. These outfits would consist of dyes, character outfits/clothing/armour pieces, mounts/mount dyes, weapons, hair/hair colour.

I wanted the look to revolve around the back.

A complete showcase of the different fashion looks, outfits and style combinations that a content creator uses in guild wars 2.

I propose that we have a way to save multiple outfit sets that can be quickly swapped between. Every outfit can be dyed and has up to four dye channels to customize colors uniformly across the entire outfit. So here's the idea aka tl;dr: And probably that other fashiony thing that's alluding my mind at present!

The outfit made of supple leather and intricate metal accents was inspired by artists’ renditions of the hero jora, whose bravery and tenacity in the face of drakkar’s corrupting influence inspires the norn to this day. There's no integration with your current set. Many of them mix the sylvari culture armor with pieces from other armors. For the same reason that heavy, light, and medium can't be mixed, outfits can't be mixed with any of those weights, as they are a separate weight, themselves.

Just came back wanted to do armor mixes and ive seen a lot of armor and weapon skins that i cannot find on wardrobe for preview purposes is there a way to see this list maybe a filter in tp or overlay type of addons like gw2 navi?perhaps a website that you can check the list of it and get the chat codes easily instead of going 1 by 1?

From guild wars 2 wiki. Outfits are full sets of clothing that hide other armor. Outfits are full sets of clothing that hide other armor. In this case jen’s fashion.

When you go to make a character many of the starting pictures you see for each profession are created using a mixture of different armor sets as opposed to single armor sets. But once you lift the restrictions in that way, you can find the armor type design that best fits the outfit you want to create, you can then create it as armor pieces and all players will be able to buy it and mix and match it with the corresponding armor type. As a new comer to gw2, i feel like these “all or nothing” outfits are a solid miss when it comes to fashion. Now to go back over just 1 outfit means the devs would have have to make 6 new pieces of armor x 5 races x 2 genders.

This would be the most incredible feature of the expansion.

Nothing really overly exciting with my choice of armor combination. Outfits are full sets of clothing that hide other armor. As stated previously, it takes ~9 months to create an armor set. It's not just a matter of separating the pieces.

You can mix and match armor parts, but not outfits. Each individual piece of armor needs to be created to fit 5 races x 2 genders. This will not change individual armor pieces, and you will still receive your current armor stats. We're also long past the hurr durr keep each armor class distinct visually phase.

When using the dark chocolate dye on the top you get the extra happenstance of. That is, sadly, the point of outfits. Let us mix and match outfits or sections of outfits. Front/back images to compare outfit appearances between races and genders.

Incorporating the stone and wood elements. Outfits cannot be combined with any other armor skins, except for back items. From there, you can enable/disable it and dye the 4 channels that come with it, but there isn't much else you can do. Right now, when you spend gems to buy the outfit, it gets chucked into the outfit section of the hero panel.

Not look like everyone else :(

Daydreamers (which is my favorite), raiment of the lich (i honestly don't remember why i bought this one), hexed (which is basically free during halloween), and the common clothing (because the tonic is hella cheap). Applying an outfit does not cost any transmutation charge and it is possible to change it without any restriction. This will not change individual armor pieces, and you will still receive your current armor stats. Yes it would be nice, but it's not likely to happen, beyond what they're already doing where certain pieces of outfits are also available as armour.
